Intentional Gift Giving

At the end of each year I feel the same pang of wanting to buy gifts for my kids but not wanting to overdo it so that, A) they won't get too much stuff and not appreciate it all, and B) we won't be bringing items in the house without some intention behind the purchases.

I've found the below method of selecting presents to be especially helpful when it comes to gift giving. I use it as a sounding board not a checklist - by no means do you need to cover each category! It keeps me from just buying random things and helps me really consider what stages my children are in and what they can and will actually use.

Let me know if you have other methods of keeping the gift giving under control, I'd love to hear! xo
